Telstar Boys and Mt. Abram Girls take the overall lead
Nick Newman of Mountain Valley and Abby Landry of Telstar are the 2017 MVC Slalom Champions. Newman's teammates Jon Adley and Curtis Gauvin rounded out the top three for the boys slalom. Emma Berube of Mt. Abram and Ellie Leduc of Mtn. Valley rounded out the top three for the girls slalom. Gaelan Boyle-Wight of Telstar and Marta Opie also of Telstar are the 2017 MVC Classical Champions. Xavier Romanoski and Harry Walters both of Mt. Abram were 2nd and 3rd for the boys classical. Risa Marble of Mt. Abram and Bea Stewart of Monmouth rounded out the top three for the girls classical. The Mt. Valley boys and the Telstar girls have the team lead after day 1 on the Alpine side.
