Due to wind chill concerns, the jury has delayed the start times of day 1 of the MPA Class A/B/C Nordic State Meet at Black Mtn on Tuesday, February 18th.  The boys classical will now start at 12:30pm and the girls classical will now start at 2:30pm.   REVISED MPA NORDIC SCHEDULE

exclamationDue to the upcoming storm on Sunday making for difficult travel conditions for teams, the MPA Ski Committee has made the following changes to the MPA Class A/B/C Nordic state meet at Black Mtn.  The state meet will now be on Tuesday-Wednesday, February 18-19.  Tuesday will be the interval classical and Wednesday will be the freestyle pursuit.  Same start times.  The committee is also keeping an eye on the forecast for Tuesday with the cold and winds.  If racing on Tuesday is not possible, then the state meet will be a one-day championship on Wednesday. The decision will be made on Monday.

Spectator Info:  The bridge at Black Mtn is a busy place.  Spectators should watch from one side or the other and let recreational skiers with equipment be able to pass to alpine hill.  Spectators should be on the stadium side of the bridge. 

The old base lodge is open to tailgating and spectating. It's a warm and great area to take a break in with a porta potty outside.
