Maranacook Waves Moved to Monday

The forecasted weather on Saturday, 1/16 makes it look like driving will be an issue, so the Maranacook Wave Race has been moved to Monday. The race details will remain the same except for start times. A number of coaches have expressed concern about mid-term week for their athletes, so we will not be combining with the alpine teams to do the Skimeister Slalom and will be starting the races earlier: 11:00 AM for the women and12:30 pm for the men. Please do this by 6:00 pm on Friday. It has been a rough winter for competitions, so we are committed to having a high quality race on Monday. We are working on alternate sites also (all close to Maranacook, so transportation would not change much) If the weather on Saturday results in a lot of rain. Nordic skiing is an adventure!!
