Quarry Road Trails in Waterville is open for Nordic skiing. The Central Maine Ski Club high school and middle school teams (along with Colby and Bowdoin and a number of individual athletes) have been training on-snow at Quarry Road since last Wednesday.
There is about a half-kilometer of groomed manmade snow available, and it is lit for skiing into the evening. Teams that want to train should make arrangements with Waterville Parks and Rec at 207-680-4744 or
