The Chisholm Ski Club is celebrating 100 years this season with a Winter Carnival February 3-5 at Black Mtn. Here is the schedule:
Friday February 3, 2017
9:00 AM skiing at Black Mountain $20/lift ticket
9:00 AM-throughout the weekend
Open exhibit of Chisholm Ski Club memorabilia in the Museum Room at Black Mountain
4 PM-7 PM History of Chisholm Ski Club book signing at fireplace on main floor of the lodge
4 PM-7 PM Music by the Gallant Brothers
7 PM Torchlight Parade-kids interested in participating are required to sign up in ticket office between now and then. Parental permission/signature required.
7:30 Fireworks
8 PM performance by Maine Hysterical Society-free to the public. Donations accepted.

8:00 AM registration for marathon race
9:00 AM John Roderick Marathon Cross Country Race
10:00 AM-2:00 PM LLBean Bootmobile. Games, prizes, drawing for $300 LL Bean gift card
6:30 PM Winter Carnival Banquet Social Hour
7:00 PM Banquet begins –tickets $20/person for dinner& dance. Tickets can be purchased at
the Black Mountain Ticket office, Davis Florist (Congress Street, Rumford),
at Muriel’s Volunteer Kitchen and Race Head Quarters (on the day of
a race) and through
people so buy your ticket early.
8:00 PM-11:00 PM Dance to music of the Kahtunes
