Rumford--Day 1 of the KVAC Alpine Championships were held today at Black Mtn with the giant slalom competition. For the girls, Taylor 
Gordon of Mt. Blue is the 2020 KVAC Giant Slalom Champion. Her winning combined time was 1:47.85. Anna Baldwin of Hampden Academy was second and Liz Dieterich of Oxford Hills was third. For the boys, Colby Vandecker of Oxford Hills is the 2020 KVAC Giant Slalom Champion. His winning combined time was 1:39.58. Eli Yeaton of Mt. Blue was second and Sam McKee of Maranacook was third.
