Farmington--Day 1 of the MPA Class A Nordic State Championships was held today at Titcomb Mtn with the classical competition. In the girls 
classical, Emma Charles of Mt. Blue is the 2020 Class A Classical State Champion. Her winning time was 16:42. Brynee Robbins of Mt. Blue was second and Eva Clement of Falmouth was third. In the boys classical, Liam Niles of Portland is the 2020 Class A Classical State Champion. His winning time was 15:10. William Jordan of Deering was second and Leif Harney of Greely was third. The Mt. Blue girls and the Falmouth boys take the lead after day 1. Day 2 is Tuesday with the freestyle pursuit.
