Edward Little girls and Falmouth boys take the lead in Class A Alpine
Shawnee Peak--Day 1 of the MPA Class A Alpine State Championships were held today at Shawnee Peak with the giant slalom competition. In
the girls giant slalom, Sarah Hare of Windham is the 2020 Class A Giant Slalom State Champion. Her winning combined time was 1:23.93. Anna Baldwin of Hampden was second and Elizabeth Hanson of Greely was third. In the boys giant slalom, AJ Noyes of Falmouth is the 2020 Class A Giant Slalom State Champion. His winning combined time was 1:19.48. Will Marshall of Fryeburg Academy was second and Sean Maguire of Marshwood was third. The Edward Little girls and the Falmouth boys take the team lead after day 1. Day 2 of the Class A Alpine State Championships conclude on Saturday with the slalom. RESULTS (Photos by Robin Leavitt)
