The 2026 KVAC Alpine Championships began on Saturday, February 7th with the slalom competition at Titcomb Mtn in Farmington. In the girls slalom, Ellie Porter of Edward Little is the 2026 KVAC Slalom champion. She had a winning combined time of 1:21.86. In second place was Eleanor Browne of Skowhegan with a combined time of 1:24.14. Rounding out the podium in third place was Helene Rueter of Bangor with a combined time of 1:25.66. In the boys slalom, Sawyer Shanaman of Edward Little is the 2026 KVAC Slalom champion. His winning combined time was 1:21.11. In second place was Finn Morton of Mt. Blue with a combined time of 1:21.73. Rounding out the podium in third place was Peyton Langlois of Edward Little with a combined time of 1:22.20. For the team scores, the Edward Little girls and boys take the lead after day 1 of the KVAC Alpine Championships. Day 2 giant slalom is on Thursday, February 12th at Saddleback Mtn. RESULTS
