The Falmouth girls and boys win 2024 Class A Alpine Title

Quinn Maguire of Marshwood: 2024 Class A Slalom State ChampionDay 2 of the 2024 MPA Class A Alpine State Championships was held today at Pleasant Mtn in Bridgton with the slalom competition and finished with repeat individual state champions. In the girls slalom, Hadley Prewitt of Marshwood is the 2024 Class A Slalom State Champion. Her winning combined time was 1:40.07. She also won the giant slalom on Wednesday. Bridget Jacobsen of Falmouth was the runner-up with a time of 1:42.28. Rosie St. Cyr of Freeport was third with a time of 1:45.08. In the boys slalom, Quinn Maguire of Marshwood is the 2024 Class A Slalom State Champion. His winning combined time was 1:29.59. He also won the giant slalom on Wednesday. Evan O'Donnell of Edward Little was the runner-up with a time of 1:31.44. Ansel Goode of Freeport was third with a time of 1:38.60. In the team scores, the Falmouth girls and the Falmouth boys are the 2024 Class A Alpine State Champions. The Freeport girls nd the Edward Little boys were state runners-up.
