Class A Alpine State Championships 

Shawnee Peak, February 14-15

** Feb. 13th Update:  Due to making a postponement in the Class A Alpine Ski Championships to the Saturday that begins February Vacation, the management at Shawnee Peak has asked us to adjust our schedule on Saturday, February 15, 2020.  It will be very busy at the mountain and they have asked us to begin racing at 8:30 a.m. instead of 9:00 a.m.  They have also asked that schools limit themselves to one table each in the lodge.  We are looking to skip the coaches’ meeting on Saturday and take care of all of those details in the Friday meeting.

Please see the attached revised agenda for the adjusted schedule.  Friday, February 14 will remain with the original schedule.

**Due to the forecasted weather for Thursday, February 13, the MPA Class A Alpine Ski Championships at Shawnee Peak in Bridgton have been postponed to Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15.  The schedule order will remain the same with Giant Slalom on Friday and Slalom on Saturday.  Please see attached revised schedule.

GIRLS A/C/B PURSUIT   BOYS A/C/B PURSUIT

Glide Wax Rule:  To clarify, no glide wax higher than low fluoro and no topcoats of any kind can be used at the state meet.

PARKING INFO: There will be a shuttle bus available for people attending the Class A/B/C Nordic Championships. People may park their vehicle at the Farmington Hannaford and a bus will be available for pick up on Monday the 17th beginning at 11:30 from Hannaford and going till 4:30 pm.  On Tuesday, the shuttle will be available from Hannaford beginning at 8 am and running till 2:30 pm.  The bus will run during these times between Hannaford and Titcomb every twenty minutes.  If you have any questions about the shuttle, please contact Titcomb at 778-9031.

Titcomb Mtn Nordic Training: Titcomb Mountain is excited about hosting the 2020 MPA Class A/B/C State Nordic Championships.  If your team is interested in training at Titcomb between now and the state meet in February, please contact Titcomb’s manager at 778-9031.  Titcomb will offer a $5.00 per athlete trail pass.  Coaches, please contact Titcomb in advance to indicate number of athletes want to attend and insure grooming will be appropriate.  Thank you.
