Love to race Nordic? Interested in skiing in college in an exciting varsity program? UMF races in NENSA Eastern Cups, the Bates and Colby Carnivals as well as the USCSA series in New England and New York. USCSA races have a friendly vibe and are a lot of fun. Last year Nationals were at Mammoth Mountain in California and it was an EPIC experience! Freshman Ayla Bodach-Turner was 2nd in the FS Sprint and 8th in the 15km FS. This year Nationals are at Lake Placid and next year they will be out west.
We’re looking for athletes who enjoy skiing, working together as a team and having fun. It’s open to all levels of experience. UMF is always rated in the top ten by US News and World Reports for academic excellence as well as value. Small class sizes allow you to stand out and allowed a Senior last year to earn a full scholarship at UConn in Microbiology. We train at Quarry Road, Titcomb and the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center.
