Falmouth Girls and Boys win 2026 SMAA Alpine
The 2026 SMAA Alpine Championships were held today at Pleasant Mtn with both the slalom and giant slalom competitions. In the girls slalom, Margo Hesson of Falmouth is the 2026 SMAA Slalom champion. Her combined time was 1:12.25. In second place was Hazel Martin of Marshwood with a combined time of 1:12.45. In the boys slalom, Ian Christie of Falmouth is the 2026 SMAA Slalom champion. His winning combined time was 1:07.28. In second place was Liam Keefer of Falmouth with a combined time of 1:09.39. In the girls giant slalom, Lena Asali of Scarborough is the 2026 SMAA GS champion. Her winning combined time was 1:21.54. In second place was Margo Hesson of Falmouth with a combined time of 1:21.67. In the boys giant slalom, Ian Christie of Falmouth is also the 2026 SMAA GS Champion. His winning combined time was 1:15.73. In second place was Sam Good of Kennebunk with a combined time of 1:16.84.
