Caribou Girls and Fort Kent Boys win Aroostook Nordic
The Aroostook Nordic Championships concluded today with the 5K Freestyle pursuit competition at Four Seasons Trails in Madawaska. In the girls race, Isabella Albert of Caribou is the 2026 Aroostook Freestyle champion. Her winning time was 18:03.9. In second place was Emma Graves of Caribou with a time of 18:05.1. In third place was Taylor York of Presque Isle with a time of 18:40.6. In the boys race, Alden Reardon of Fort Kent is the 2026 Aroostook Freestyle champion. His winning time was 13:38.7. Alden has won every Nordic ski race in the state this season including the Sassi Memorial at Black Mtn last weekend. In second place was Silas Baser of Presque Isle with a time of 14:48.4. In third place was Ben Chartier of Fort Fairfield with a time of 15:17.0. The Caribou girls and the Fort Kent boys win the 2026 Aroostook Nordic team title. RESULTS | PHOTO GALLERY
