The 2026 Maranacook Waves 5K freestyle race was held today at Titcomb Mtn in Farmington with fresh snow falling. 
Skiers started in waves of four and competed against other skiers in
their same school class. For the freshmen, Amelie Van Der Meer of Waterville and Liam Hohl of Greely were the top freshmen. For the sophomores, Nell Mcalister of York and Clayton Hickey of Falmouth were the top sophomorese. For the juniors, Harper Olmstead of Maranacook and Daire Woodruff of Brunswick were the top juniors. For the seniors, Lucy Huggett of Freeport and Jack Borland of Deering were the top seniors.
