Luca DeAngelis of Maranacook and Lily Johnston of Freeport open the 2014-2015 season with wins at the Chenard Memorial Opener at Sugarloaf. DeAngelis cruised through the 3K Freestyle course in 7:14 , Johnston finished with a time of 8:26. The Falmouth boys and the Maranacook girls were the top teams.
