The 2nd Annual Waterville Sprint Festival was held today at Quarry Road Trails in Waterville. Skiers first raced a 2K sprint qualifier to determine who raced in the individual sprint heats and in the team sprints. In the individual sprints, Sam Geissinger of Spruce Mtn and Elizabeth Strickland of Mt. Blue won the individual sprints. In the team sprint finals, it was the Messalonskee boys team of Noah Oliver and Lex Cote who edged out the Greely team of Peter Colliani and Liam Hohl. The Orono girls team of Ellie Arsenault and Clara White won the girls team sprints. The Greely team of Nela Paldusova and Evelyn Lacasse was second. COMPLETE RESULTS | PHOTO GALLERY
