The 2025 MPA Class B Alpine State Championships began today at Saddleback Mtn in Rangeley with the giant slalom competition. In the boys giant slalom, Thatcher Riley of Maranacook is the 2025 Class B giant slalom state champion. His winning combined time was 1:25.36. In second place was Dylan Cobb of Poland with a combined time of 1:25.66. In third place was Reed Michaud of Fort Kent with a combined time of 1:28.11. In the girls giant slalom, Logan MacLeod of Yarmouth is the 2025 Class B giant slalom state champion. Her winning combined time was 1:25.80. In second place was Lily Boulanger of Mountain Valley with a combined time of 1:27.33. In third place was Emery Dodge of York with a combined time of 1:29.51.
