**Due to the cold temperatures on Saturday, some of the morning races have been delayed. The junior Sassi race will now start at 10:00am with the girls. The high school Sassi women will now start at 11:30am. The rest of the day's schedule remains the same. SASSI DAY REVISED SCHEDULEThe 2026 Sassi Memorial 5K Classical race is set to go for Saturday, January 31st at Black Mtn in Rumford. The high school girls start at 11:30am and the high school boys start at 1:00pm. (the jury is monitoring the temperatures for the Jr. Sassi race. Check back later in case there are any start time changes). The Maine Nordic team freestyle pursuit qualifier will start at 3:00pm for the girls and 3:45pm for the boys. Heads up! With all the new snow, the main lodge will be busy. There are two floors of seating in the old lodge with porta potties, heat, and chairs.
