LOST & FOUND: Posted February 3rd:

Lost Skis: One of the Bowdoin skiers lost a pair of skis at Black Mtn on the same day as the Maranacook Wave Races.  We haven’t had much luck asking around among the college coaches and racers, so we are hoping that maybe a HS skier picked them up by mistake.  They’re Fischer Carbonlite skate skis, 177cm, with NNN bindings – they’re labeled with a piece of blue tape that says “Maren Askins, Bowdoin” on them.  If you know about the whereabouts of these skis, please contact Steve DeAngelis, coach at Maranacook.

Nordic: Oxford Hills Sprints Latest Update:  The Oxford Hills Sprints will be at Sunny Croft Farm on Saturday.  All entries must be in by 4:00pm today, 1/31.  Skiers can only use nothing more than LF wax for the sprints.  RACE INFO

LOST & FOUND: Posted January 27th:

Lost Boots:  Nordic ski boots were lost at Black Mtn:  "My name is Maggie Ross and I'm a nordic skier for Hampden Academy. I've lost my boots and I'm hoping I can get some help in finding them. The last time I had them was at Black Mountain on January 14th at the Leavitt Race. I've checked everywhere else for them, but I'm thinking someone on another team might of picked them up accidently. There is a pair of 38's exactly like mine in the lost and found,and so someone might of picked mine up thinking they were theirs, and the 38's are actually theirs. Mine are grey combi fisher boots and are either size 41 or 42 (I was torn between the sizes, I can't remember which ones I got!). They are rentals and say PVSC on the back heels. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you for your time! Alpine: Titcomb Mountain is hosting a slalom on 2/3/12 at 4:00pm.  Right now there are only a few teams signed up with room for more.  It is a great slalom venue with excellent competition, and the fries are outstanding.  If interested, please email Mark Cyr
