Leavitt Duathlon

Wednesday, March 3^rd

Where: Leavitt Area High School

Time: 3:30pm Mass Start for everyone

What: 2.5K Classical then 2.5K Skate.  The time does not stop.  The only rule is that you must change skis in the exchange zone.

Course Info: The start is along the hill by the track.  It does a loop around the field hockey field, then across the football field and baseball field.  It does one complete loop in the woods and then back around the field hockey field.  The exchange zone and finish line is on the football field. 

And more: Anyone can race (coaches, students, parents).  The tradition is to dress up in costumes.  They must be school appropriate.  CLICK HERE to see photos from last year’s Duathlon.

Prizes: Edible prizes will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers.  There will also be a raffle drawing for more wicked edible treats.

Entries: No bibs will be used and the race will not be timed but for the raffle drawing at the end of the race, please email your entries to dwilliamson@msad52.org by Tuesday, March 2^nd at noon.

Fee: A 5$ per skier donation.  Make checks payable to Leavitt Ski Boosters.
